General Description:
The purpose of this position is
- To be instructed on import and export activities.
- To be trained and instructed in the professional operation process of customs procedures, jobs related to the delivery and receipt of import and export goods of the Customer.
- Learning and supplementing knowledge and experience about actual customs operations/logistics operations.
- Support the processing of import and export documents, monitor the progress of customs clearance, and coordinate with relevant parties.
- This candidate must have communication and customer management skills to maintain positive customer relationships, be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This candidate must be a team player to ensure good working collaboration between different Business Units locally.
Specific Accountabilities:
1. Customs Operations
Supports all functions in DB Schenker for customs-related requirements
Coordinate with customers on a daily basis to check and verify shipping documents for customs clearance
Control the customs declaration via the VNACCS system
Ensure payments are made in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure that deliveries are made in a timely manner
Supporting functions, business units, and monitoring their operational tasks to ensure compliance with customs laws and other regulations
Ensure compliance with national subcontractor management policies and procedures
2. Subcontractor Management
Ensure that the KPIs are being achieved by the subcontractors
Work with suppliers to improve their service if KPIs are not being met
3. Sales Support
Support Sales, Air, Ocean and Logistics functions in selling Customs Services by providing expert know-how in sales and tender processes.
4. HSSE
Ensure that HSSE guidance is followed by staff
Understand the HSSE policy of the company
Follow the HSSE policy of the company
Report near misses to Manager / Supervisor

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Import-export knowledge/expertise and operational skills are preferred.
Good basic communication and email skills in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Good office computer skills (Excel, word, Outlook).
Good communication skills and work coordination with stakeholders.
Careful, responsible, capable of working under time [protected info], collaboration with stakeholders.
Final year students or recent graduates of universities majoring in foreign trade or related fields.
Have basic knowledge of import and export documents: Invoice, packing list, B/L, AWB...
A basic understanding of Customs and Logistics regulations is an advantage.
English and Vietnamese communication skills
Candidates who have interned or worked part-time related to Logistics/Import and Export are preferred, have experience in document processing or work with shipping lines/FWD/Customs brokers.
Have a spirit of learning and initiative at work.
Being able to work full-time during an internship is an advantage.
Long-term development orientation in the field of Logistics/Customs operation.
